About Llandudno

Llandudno is considered the premier resort in North Wales and it isn’t hard to see why. Blue flag beaches, grand Victorian and Edwardian architecture including the main crescent of impressive looking hotels built between 1850 and 1875. Probably the most unspoilt promenade in the UK which looks especially nice illuminated in the evening. There is lots to see and things to do in Llandudno, including a ride up the Great Orme on the uk’s longest cable car or only cable driven tramway, whilst there you can visit the great orme bronze age copper mines.

For the more adventurous there is a dry ski slope and toboggan run. Llandudno is also very well placed for visiting the rest of the attractions that North Wales has to offer. Snowdonia mountain range is a walkers paradise, or for the less able the Snowdon mountain railway will take you to the top. North Wales is home to some of the finest surviving Medieval castles in Europe and are well worth a visit, Conwy being the closest is just five miles from Llandudno.
