Welsh Mountain Zoo

Located in upper Colwyn Bay, the Welsh Mountain Zoo is nestled away in the delightful hills of the area. Just a short drive from Llandudno, the Zoo is full of many fantastic animals, exhibits and plenty of educational & entertaining events and activities. The many animals come under the category of mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, invertebrates and amphibians. There is a plentiful array of things to see and do and is topped off nicely with its phenomenal play park, gift shop cafe, refreshment shops and convenient car park.


Conwy Castle

Conwy Castle is a medieval stoned fortress that takes a commanding position upon the town of Conwy. Overlooking the estuary and surrounding areas, the castle was erected between 1283 and 1289 as one of the key fortresses to contain the Welsh. The castle is now a well recognised tourist attraction and proves a draw to many visitors to the local area. Just a few minutes away by car, it is one of the favourite places for many Llandudno visitors.  


The Great Orme Tramway

The only remaining cable operated street tramway in the UK – and one of the very few left in the world. The Great Orme tramway will enable you to easily get from the Llandudno Victoria Station situated at the base of the Great Orme, to the summit of the Great Orme in a short and scenic journey. The tramway has been in service for over a Century, established in 1902 and welcomes thousands each year.


The Great Orme

The Great Orme is situated at the north side of Llandudno and is widely recognised as a large limestone headland that boasts incredible views and a lovely arena for fun. Now a developed and established attraction, the Great Orme attracts thousands of visitors every year. On the Orme, you’ll find Copper Mines, Cable Cars, the Victorian Tramway and a lovely cafe at the top. Reach by foot, car or Victorian Tramway.

Venue Cymru

The stunning Venue Cymru is a large theatre, conference and event hall that takes a prime location in Llandudno. Widely known as the North Wales theatre, it plays host to many of the biggest and best productions that grace the region. Venue Cymru is based just down the road adjacent to the Promenade, just a few minutes away from Lawton Lauriston Court.
